I’m Sorry Meditation for Children
A beautiful meditation to help a child forgive themselves for something they may have done. After relaxing, the child imagines themselves in a familiar place where they feel safe and held, surrounded by things they love, and by beauty, love and light. And then taking a journey of healing and self-love.
Following the rays of a rainbow they enter a magical world of imagination. Spending time in the ray of red light, the excitement of the possibility of change embraces them. They reach up and move into the Orange… imagining a garden where the Earth is inviting them to lay down and remember something they want to say Sorry for.
Feeling safe and held they can feel okay to forgive and be forgiven. Hugging themselves, held by the Earth, they find the courage to forgive and to hug the person they want to say sorry to. All is forgiven and all is well. They come away feeling lighter, giggling and grateful… remembering how easy it can be to say “I’m Sorry”.
