Final Thoughts on Meditation
It is a good practice not to talk about your meditation experiences. Meditation is personal and sacred. It is your journey to develop the best that is within you, however it is that you define “the best”. Keeping it to yourself preserves the quiet power of the practice. You will find that by discussing certain details, your practice becomes diluted, and you may even find your practice harder to maintain.
This recommendation does not imply that you should not respond to people who ask and are genuinely curious about meditation practice in general, only that you refrain from sharing details that relate to your own inner work and experiences.
In the final analysis, meditation is the path that reveals and enlarges our sense of who and what we are, what we can become and how to “get there”. Enjoy the journey, it may be the best thing you ever do for yourself.
