Our Story

Hello dear friends, my name is Greg Tzinberg and together with my wife Theresa we conceived the idea of starting the Inward Bound Network as a way to help people cope with the outbreak of covid-19. We noted the increased anxieties so many people experience as a result of isolation, fear of the disease, the lockdowns and all of the disruptive changes that has turned life upside down for so many. We both wanted to find a way to offer our help as people looked for ways to cope with the “new normal” of life during a pandemic. We thought about this as a sort of virtual “drop-in meditation center” that people could access day or night seven days a week.

Our intention is to offer support to people while developing their inner sources of resilience and how to be comfortable and even at peace as they learn to cope with aloneness, uncertainty, reduced mobility and other restrictions. These trying circumstances highlighted the need for people to learn meditation and other means of self-care to not only cope with the pandemic, but to thrive in a spiritual and intra-personal sense. Theresa and I have spent many years practicing meditation and disciplines related to health and well-being, so we felt well equipped to answer the call when it came.

We soon gathered a group of very committed and compassionate people who are all very experienced meditation teachers, healers and therapists to put together classes to be offered over Zoom and advertised through Facebook. This all began in early 2020 and our story keeps evolving. We are continuing to pursue our original vision and mission, but we have expanded our ability to reach out to people interested in what we offer through recorded meditations, our newsletter, a blog and our new website.

Please help yourself to what we have on offer and be sure to share the website link with your friends. Welcome to the Inward Bound Network website!
